Autumn Ramp Park opened in April 0f 2006. The original park layout was designed and built by Wesselbuilt, LLC. Builders include Nate Wessel, Ryan Corrigan, Matt Gibeaut, Aaron Bostrom and Ty Stuyvesant. In addition to the Wesselbuilt team Jud Heald, and Scott Walters added the skate influence to the design. Autumn is backed by financial support from American Ramp Company.
Recently (winter of 2006/2007) 2/3 of the park under went a rennovation. The Autumn staff, ARC designers and Jud Heald took the input of all the people that visited the park and designed a new layout. The park rennovation was made possible by the generous financial backing of ARC and the hard work of their builders. The Autumn staff worked alongside ARC builders for two long months to come up with a great design. The layout maintains the flowing lines that Autumn has been known for while at the same time creates more diversity in the park. For pictures of the new layout click here.
Surfaced in Skatelite, Autumn Ramp Park features an assortment of interconnected bowls and ramps ranging in sizes from 3 to 11 feet deep to keep both skaters and bikers happy. The park also features an elevated, flowing street section with stairs, bowl corners, handrails and ledges, hips, wedges and plenty of gaps and transfers. Even though the park is designed for skateboard and BMX enthusiasts, it is a unique and entertaining destination for visitors and residents alike. The speed, skill and enjoyment of the riders and skaters is contagious and greatly entertaining for spectators as well. The park offers balcony viewing and free wireless internet access. Autumn Ramp Park is located in a brand new 20,000 square foot building within the Bridge Destination Complex at the Hammons Sports Park off of Interstate 44. |
