S-K-A-T-E Saturday Finals

The Final Round of S-K-A-T-E Saturday is now history and here is the way it went down. The placings are based on number of games won, the points are based on placing and points earned during each game. For example if you ended a game without getting a letter you would earn 60 points. For every letter that you have at the end of the game you would lose 10 points. Also points are earned by placing in the top 3 spots. 300 for 1st, 200 for 2nd and 100 for 3rd.

Wednesday Hours Change

Beginning September 8, 2010 Autumn will be hosting a Bible Study beginning at 6pm. The Bible Study will replace regular sessions. Following the Bible Study there will be a free session in the park for those who attended the Bible Study. The free session will end at 9pm. We hope to see you here on Wednesday evenings.

In preparation for this change Autumn will be closed on Wednesday September 1st. Thank you for your cooperation, sorry for any confusion this may cause.

The placings are based on number of games won, the points are based on placing and points earned during each game. For example if you ended a game without getting a letter you would earn 60 points. For every letter that you have at the end of the game you would lose 10 points. Also points are earned by placing in the top 3 spots. 300 for 1st, 200 for 2nd and 100 for 3rd. Points will follow you through the entire season which wraps up August 28, 2010. The next S-K-A-T-E Saturday will be August 28 at 1pm. See you there!

Here is a video of John Andrus and Paul Covey in El Salvador earlier this summer. Although we really miss having them here in Joplin and helping out around Autumn it is awesome to see how God is using them and their little bikes around the world! Enjoy the video...

John Andrus and Paul Covey team up with the Reid Saunders Association for a tour through El Salvador. They perform at city festivals, small villages, and schools with the intentions of sharing Christ with as many people as possible!
